The place looked very authentic, but the food out surpassed any decor. I had the Carne Guisada dinner and it was the best I have ever had hands down. The meat was so tender and the sauce, not spicy but oh so flavorful. I give my whole dinner a solid 10. If you want good Mexican food while in Mineral Wells, Texas then you must go to La Cienega Mexican Food restaurant.
This is my favorite place in Mineral Wells! The staff is amazing. The owner really puts her heart into this business and the food is incredible! I eat here as often as I can. Great food, great people, fantastic atmosphere! Definitely recommend. Best barbacoa in north Texas!!!
First time there and we loved it.
We were visiting Mineral Wells for a baseball tournament that our 10 year old grandson was participating in at Rocker B. We ate at La Cienega on Saturday evening. Our youngest grandson turned 4 that day. The owner went above and beyond celebrating him. A plate of sopapillas with ice cream was brought to our table. The staff brought maracas for him to shake while they sang to him. He was delighted! The service was great, and the food that we ordered was delicious.
Food was delicious and service was amazing!!!! We had breakfast and it was delicious. Will definitely come back.
