La Cava was great I loved their service, the food was great, and they even sung happy birthday to me in Spanish for my birthday!
Refused a groupon I bought in good faith. I like the food but hate deal breakers!
My family tried to eat there today for my birthday, but they refused to honor my Groupon. They would do nothing for us. We got up and left and will not be returning. Whatever excuses you want to give us about Groupon are BS...you sold a deal that was too good, and now you won't honor it. Whatever...Mexican restaurants are a dime a dozen!
Friendly enough staff and decent service, but food was mediocre at best. Restaurant was not very busy at all but most of our food was only lukewarm like it had been sitting too long before being brought out to us. Most of my pork carnitas was fat and the beans and rice had no flavor. This was my first visit and I probably won't be back.
Ate there today for the first time. No real desire to go back. Had the Colorado steak burrito with beans and rice. Re-fried beans are the worst I've ever had. One of the most bland tasting things I've eaten. Steak was good, but everything on the plate was lukewarm at best. Very mediocre. Hardly anyone in there today over lunch, so they weren't very busy. My little brother said his two chicken strips were hot so I guess they have that going for them...
