Empanadas were good. We waited over an hour for our dinners. We were so ready to leave. My husband’s dinner was cold and chicken dinners were overcooked. Water tasted terrible. My daughter ate her dinner and had instant diarrhea. The inside is beautiful but the grounds need a lot of up keeping. It just looks like a dump around the building especially in the back. Completely skeptical on cleanliness and quality of food.
Tony, the bartender, receives the recognition he truly deserves. My intention was to grab a quick meal before heading home, but I ended up staying much longer because of Tony who was the bartender. In addition to offering excellent recommendations and demonstrating great skill behind the bar, his kindness, personality, and genuine hospitality completely transformed my evening. The apps were outstanding - street corn , beet salad & chips with guac. The entrees were above average, burria tacos, chili relenos and chicken mole. Top notch Margarita as well. The service was ok, but an upgrade in that department would help to match the beautiful atmosphere food that asks you to come back and try something else. Overall worth a visit.
