Cam and her team are exceptional. Their responsiveness has moved my sister from being near death and bed-bound to walking again and making great strides in her health. My sister’s medical case is wildly complex. She has 73 separate health issues and 30 different medications. Every week, she needs to see several doctors in addition to getting to and from dialysis. Cam responds immediately to every text. The nurses are upbeat (a huge boon for recovering patients). Their openness to working as a team has been a lifesaver. I hig... read more
Okay, first of all, someone posting a five-star review of a skilled nursing home must either be a shill or insane, right? Read on. My father suffered a serious fall down a full flight of steps earlier this year, suffering multiple debilitating injuries. He was in the ICU for three days and a trauma ward for four. Prior to discharge, I had heard great things about La Casa Via, and after touring three other facilities (all of which either my mom or dad had been treated in due to other injuries or surgeries), my parents and I c... read more
My second stay here is now going into the history book of my life. I thank so many for the care that was given. So many kind people--- Tom Jones is a mighty man in his position. He is such a credit to the center. I am in awe in all that he does and what he knows beyond his position. The therapy department does an awesome job. Ms. Charlene is a wonderful teacher, knows pain limits, and so supportive and encouraging. Wound care nurses took their time to properly assess and communicate to nursing if orders needing changing in a... read more
The whole staff, Cam, Tom, and everyone was incredible. They had tremendous attention to detail and provided excellent care to my family member after their hospitalization. They totally changed my perception of what a skilled nursing facility can be. I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to have them take care of me or anyone in my family. In every way they went above and beyond and exhibited genuine care.
Poorly Maintained and Overcrowded !! The facility appeared dingy and unclean, with an overcrowded atmosphere that felt chaotic. It seemed more like a high-pressure sales operation than a care-focused environment. There are plenty of better options out there—don’t compromise when it comes to quality care. This is not the place.
La Casa Via Transitional Care Center has a 4.4 star rating with 44 reviews.
