If you love Mexican street tacos, I highly recommend La Capital. We ordered the Cardona’s and carnes asade, perfection. My wife forgot to ask for flour and was pleasantly surprised at how much she enjoyed the corn. A great fresh tasting meal!
I’ve wanted to try this place after seeing the outdoor seating while driving by. Went in with a friend on a Tuesday evening. I got the birria tacos with a beer and they got the birria quesadilla with a coke. I’ve had better tacos in Austin, TX, but they were still very good. I’m also not a good critic. No toliets for customers. Tacos are a mix: shrimp yummy, fish was kinda bland, pork was kinda bland, beef yummy. Guacamole container is not full but looks like it. Staff were slightly rude. They do not serve ice water [like not even from the tap] and proceeded to give us warm bottled water. Bonus: lots of outdoor seating.
