so quaint – What a nice quaint steakhouse for Italians or those who like Italian flair and food. They have given the restaurant a nice face lift since I was here last. confirmed reservation 3 times, they claimed we didin't – First of all, let me start off by saying I'm 17 and went to this restaurant with a few friends of mine instead of going to homecoming. Reservations were made at least a week in advance. My friend who made the reservation called the restaurant 3 times to confirm and every time La Cantina said they had our reservation. Fantastic Steaks and Wine list – I recently had a business lunch and my client suggested La Cantina. Definitely a different atmosphere, than most steakhouses I've been to, feel of being in a wine cellar with fish tanks everywhere. I have to say I was very impressed. Great food and steak!! – Last night we went to dinner at La Cantina, the service was outstanding. I have been to several steakhouses in the city and this places among the best. We were seated immediately and our server came to our table within minutes. He was very friendly and knowledgable and suggested an excellent merlot to go with the steaks we ordered. I love this place!! – This restaurant is a great place to go for lunch or dinner. It is in the lower level of the Italian Village, but should not be missed. The Veal parmigian is outstanding and I've also had the New York strip steak on several occasions. It always comes out the way I ask and is very tender, almost melts in my mouth. Excellent Steakhouse and Extensive Wine List!! – First let me start by saying how impressed i was with the wine list. They have over 40,000 bottles in their cellar. Fantastic food and service!! – I cannot say enough great things about La Cantina, the steakhouse at the Italian Village. It is fantastic. Every time I go there it always impresses me that they have such an extensive wine list and they are so knowledgable on all of the wines and pairings. Worst dining experience in Chicago – My husband and I were so excited to try the Italian Village for Valentine's day, especially since Citysearch had rated it so favorably.
