Friendly family restaurant with good food! Eaten at La canasta (many years) since the old building on 7th Ave.
I've been here 4 times & i only had 1 good experience.I have gave them multiple chances to redeem themselves & they have failed. My bread looked like a flattened hot dog bunn & my menudo was over liquidy with chunks of fat, meat was horrible & they are overpriced..DO NOT WASTE UR MONEY !
I have been coming here for a long time and every time I come her, the prices keep climbing...I know she has a business to run but damn come on all you can eat menudo was $8 and some change, then $9.99 and now $11.50 come on really!!!

Thats the same fact why i dont go thur anymore i use to go thur for years. But the customer service was rude & the food is terrible & if you want good Mexican food & awesome service gotta go to the la Canasta in on 7th ave that place is actually authentic im 43yrs old i remember going thur wen i was 6 or 7yrs old they make everything. It's is by far the worst tasting menudo I have had a being a construction worker am blessed to visit many establishment threw out the valley! As I sat and made several attempts to enjoy the Mundo I could not get any satisfaction of the watered down taste! I let the cook know about it and no response, also the woman at the register watched me as was defiantly disappointed and she made absolutely no attempt to make a happy customer!
