My husband and I had dinner at La Campania in Waltham to celebrate our 47th anniversary. What an awesome evening! I love the very relaxed pace of the meal; we were there for 2-1/2 hours. Our server, Angelo (who’s worked there for years) was fantastic. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of 2012 Barolo, shared some roasted oysters and prosciutto wrapped asparagus for appetizers. What an absolute gem! Quietly sitting there on main street you would just never now such an amazing restaurant exists! From the subtle Italian decor you feel like you’re sitting in Tuscany to the friendly staff and the absolutely outstanding food I would recommend this place to everyone! Hats off to the executive chef and his staff they are amazing especially the pastry chef!
Always a big treat to dine at this wonderful restaurant. Food, drink and ambiance are perfecto!!!
I highly recommend this place for the food and the SERVICE. If you go call for a reservation with ANGELO! The food was mouth watering, the presentation gorgeous but it all comes together thanks to Angelo.
As far as Italian food, it does not get any better...
