History Established in 1981. Nick and Caterina came from Marsala, Italy in 1969 to Chicago. They started their first Restaurant there, and you can still found them open throughout the city, called "Nick's Pizzeria." They moved to Lompoc in 1981 and open La Botte Italian Restaurant. Average service, good food La Botte is a small, family-run restaurant in a small town, and serves up generally good food. Service is average and can be less so when it's busy.
spaghetti is out of this world they make spaghetti to die for! They are family owned and have been in the local area for quite some time now. Their other dishes are also mouth watering. They make a mean chicken alfredo pizza. Downfall is the restaurant is kind of small and gets easily crowded so I advise on making resservations. MAMA AND NICKI WE LOVE YOU!!!! – Catarina and Nicki owned the restaraunt for years and years and then decided they needed a break, what a mistake! They leased it to the Saletti's, who totally ruined the business and from what I hear the building as well! Authentic Italian Cuisine – I was excited to hear that an authentic italian restaurant was opening back up in town. One that everyone could afford and one that didn't specialize in steaks but rather focused their attention on Italian foods unlike Salettis which was in that location before them. If you want a friendly atmoshpere with great service and great Italian food be sure to try La botte. Highly Recommended – I highy enjoy this restaurant. It is by far my favorite in the city. The restaurant has a very friendly atmosphere, from the staff and owners. The food is absolutely authentic, by far the best place to go for an excellent Italian meal. Once you step though the doors, you will instantly feel like family, and completely enjoy your envening out. I highly recommend La Botte.
Good Italian – The food is good and the service is friendly, but can be slow. It's expensive for Lompoc, but if you're craving authentic Italian, this is the only place for it.
