From the moment we stepped onto the property it was a beautiful experience. Everything is handled and carefully arranged, but it feels as if you are all on your own. There is no one looking over your shoulder, but someone is right there if any need arises. The grounds are beautifully cared for, the facilities are perfect and everything is in order. Really pretty awesome wedding venue. The homestead and the reception hall are probably the best assets of this place. The lodge is beautiful, but the logistics if you have a downstairs room are a little weird. Aside from that, the walls between rooms are pretty thick, but the floors between the first and second are paper thin... We could hear people walking and talking in the room above us but could not hear my 9-year-old and 7 year old niece in the bunk bed room right next door when the doors were shut. Far surpasses 5 stars! If you’re looking for the quintessential Texas Hill Country Venue, you’ve found it - stop looking! The most responsive team and wonderful group of ladies. This venue is perfect for hosting your family on-site leading up to the wedding. Most of our family was from out of town and we loved the opportunity to have essentially a family reunion in addition to the wedding.
