We went for first time on Saturday and decided to do the “chefs tasting” after asking our waitress for recommendations. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. For first course, we got served one small empanada and a one person portion sausage for 2 adults to share, same with dessert when we paid for 2 tastings. I've been coming here for years. One of the best steakhouses in New Orleans when it comes to the staffing and the quality!
The service was impeccable the suggestions and the chefs tasting menu was really fun. We have so much more to explore in the menu but love the pace and location of this restaurant.
We were a bit disappointed with our visit to LaBoca. We went with the $70/person 4 course meal. We dined with another couple that visit. We ordered two different type of steaks. Flank and Wagu. Flank steak was tasty but the Wagu was not good. They overcooked it. The appetizers were pretty good. Wine was very good. Dessert fair.
This is some of the best steak I've ever eaten all of the sides were phenomenal the and Yorkie the green beans the thin cut fries with garlic the desert at the end was great and the service was phenomenal
