I have had a great experience living in the Belle Époque building. The landlord is very lovely, and maintenance is quick. There are a few issues just because it's an older building, but overall, I had a great time living here. I feel safe here, yes, there is mold, but there's mold in every building, it's the McGill ghetto.
IF YOU ARE EVEN REMOTELY CONSIDERING RENTING FROM THIS PLACE. PLEASE THINK TWICE. THEY PREY ON STUDENTS. They are owned by Cogir, a large residence corporation that will not hesitate to scam, sue and make your life miserable. Several times during the night (around 2am), you are awakened by sirens that would go off, literally traumatizing me to this day if I were to hear something remotely close to it.
