Staying here is an absolute treasure and reminded me of a time in New Orleans I felt had been forgotten. The city is so much more than a party destination; it is rich in history, food and culture. While parts of the city have adapted to survive by giving the people what the world wants - party and forget most of what you came for. .. true locals don’t recognize what the city has become. I did not stay at the hotel, so I cannot comment on the accommodations. However, I had a brief unpleasant interaction with a male staff member or resident wearing a fedora while taking a quick photo of my 3 month old baby on the front veranda on a very quiet morning. He came out to ask what was going on, and I asked if it was okay. His reaction showed visible annoyance and he said “oh mannnn!! “ in a way that felt unwelcoming and quite rude. Super awkward. We were happy with our stay. It was close to all amenities, both tourist and local. Street parking was safe. It also provided free Wi-Fi. The historical architecture was colorful and beautiful. The owners are very friendly and helpful. So, thank you, and we'll absolutely visit New Orleans again.
Such a unique hotel. We stayed there 2 nights, at room Clio. Fantastic. All those colors, indoor decor and everything else. Also has a very cute balcony. Located at a quiet neighborhood. Owners are always around.
