Oddly enough, this is a combo Mexican and sushi restaurant. I've tried both. I don't know if it's just the Bloomington/Normal area, but I thought the Mexican food was a little bland. Tender meat, but just lacking in flavor. Maybe I'm just used to California Mexican food. I'm not speaking of heat, but of flavor. Even their salsa was a bit bland. Ordered chicken nachos. Sure it would have tasted good, but I watched the cook wipe his gloves on the inside of his apron before making my food. I told the cashier I didn't want it anymore and he was aggressive in telling me it was already made. I paid by card and threw it away as I left. Obviously I'm not goingto eat that. It was just so gross.
