Nothing to review. We came in today, July 6th, and the cafe was closed. Note in the window stated that they were temporarily closed due to renovation with no date of reopening. Very dissapointing...we hoped to taste one of highly rated food by others. 🤨
Chose this place based off reviews and wait times. You put your order in at the counter and choose your seat. It was a beautiful day on the spit so we sat outside. Food came quick, and was delicious! We will be back (If i can recall there is no kids menu so just be prepared for that)
Great breakfast
A local told us this was her "go-to" restaurant on the Homer spit and now it's ours too. Food was delicious - they were out of something for the bowl and suggested an alternative which I hope I can get again. So good! And the staff is fantastic. We'll be back.
La Baleine proves that the food in Alaska doesn’t have to suck. Fresh, flavorful and dare I say, Gourmet, breakfast and lunch right on the spit. Quick service, and FREE serve yourself coffee which I love. This place owns the Homer breakfast scene. Stay golden Pony Boy!
La Baleine Cafe has a 4.6 star rating with 291 reviews.
La Baleine Cafe is closed now. It will open tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.
