We rented from L2 again this summer. Staff is always friendly & informative on river conditions as well as paddling gear, techniques, or whatever else you need. The only things you carry down/up from the river is your paddles & life jackets. The L2 staff handles the rest. There is a huge island a short distance up river which is great to sunbathe or stop for picnic lunch. The river banks are also good to explore. We rent/paddle 2hrs which is perfect for my daughter & I.
