Recently completed an appraisal on my home for refinancing. The appraiser showed up completely uncouth. Wasn't professional at all, pants were low. You could literally see his crack. I knew from the introduction that the appraisal process would not be positive for me. When I got the report back, I was right. Sub-par, not a professional company - they are lacking a good understanding of what they are doing. In a 120 min window they show up in the last 3 minutes and want to stay 20 minutes for taking pictures, etc... completely ignoring my schedule... and come back with an appraisal that is not in the 2021 June ballpark of the similar size and sold properties in Ann Arbor, and the difference is more than 20%. They would deserve to go out of business.

Do your homework, review this company. Become an informed consumer. Don't assume, one appraiser is as good as another.

The worst experience with an appraisal company. They are rude. Unprofessional. Talk to you like garbage. They low balled our house not even close to what it was appraised by others. Really screwed us and the first time home buyer whom was purchasing our home. Their appraisal is based on bias opinions of people who are uneducated. If they come to your house--- in their words, not mine: "sorry about your luck".

If I could give a negative rating I would. Totally incompetent company. Appraised the house I am trying to buy for much less than it is worth. Used incorrect comps and did not add any value to the house for all the upgrades. We tried to dispute the appraisal with supporting documents and they would not change the appraised value by a penny. Terrible company.

Horrible company who work directly with citimortgage. They do not follow up via email or phone calls. They appraise your house based on houses that are 10-15 years older. My appraiser was David bower...guy didn't say a single word to me during the appraisal. Undervalued my house and didn't ask about the upgrades we did. Awful company.
