About Us:We purchased the first portion of our farm in 1958 and the second portion in 1961 for a total of 228 acres.The farm is located in the central part of Vermont where the majority of the farms were on hills and hence called hill farms to differentiate them from farms in the river valleys. This place is amazing they are so kind and after you get your tree you can warm up with wood stove and hot drink and watch the trains which my kids just loved it! 🌲 🚂

This year is our second year visiting with L.H. Stowell to get a tree. It truly is an amazing place nestled in the mountains to get your tree. The staff is pleasant and helpful. And my girls love the warm barn with snacks.
We plan to go back next year! We love our tree only wish I knew how to post pictures here.
