Dr. Baez and the staff at Tucson Gastroenterology Institute are excellent!!! Dr.Baez explained everything to me, and seems to really care about me as a patient. The staff in his office were friendly, polite, and efficient. I would recommend this team to anyone who needs gastro care.
Dr Baez is an amazing GI specialist both friendly and knowledgeable. However, the staff are very disrespectful when it comes to the dignity of a patient. After my first appointment in late 2022, I was waiting for the prescription to be sent to my pharmacy for weeks. Everytime, I called the front desk, they told me they have done their due diligence until my Pharmacy proved to me that they have not done so. Dr. Baez was ok but his front office staff are very bitter and rude. They should be ashamed of how they treat patients and make everything much harder than they have to be I would steer away from this practice.
