I have been to many restaurants like this including Osaka, Shogun, and Benihana. Normally, the food is so-so, and you really just pay for the experience. However, our food last night was phenomenal, and absolutely worth the price. Our chef, Andy, was fun, entertaining, and engaging. I was exceptionally pleased with Kyoto and we will be back!
My fiancé and I come here to eat when we come down for shopping or a hockey game. The sushi and service is very good.
Celebrated birthdays there ... terrific experience, food and atmosphere... service was great!
Everything was fresh and delicious. The service is great, hostess definitely needs to be friendlier, she was rude and has the personality of a boar Hogg.
The server was terrible. She didnt bring a sushi menu to the table at all, which was disappointing because I specifically went out for sushi for my birthday. The other half of the table asked for one, so she brings back ONE! For just them to look at. I had to ask if we were able to have one as well. She took half the tables order wrong and had the chef confused. She didnt clean away dirty dishes or refill drinks. Ive never left such a bad tip for a server (as Im one myself).
