When I drive 2 hours to see a specialist, I expect that specialist to have the decency to atleast allow me to ask questions. He spent about 2 minutes with me. He has no idea what type of person I am or how important that appointment was to me and I found him to be very dismissive and disrespectful. Then I review my after visit document to see that some things are documented incorrectly. I will not return to Shands for health care.
I was a referral from Ocala, my appointment was Monday 10/20/2025. Dr. Ruffing truly impress me., he reminded me of the active commercial about the Oak Street Health . He was punctual for my appointment, explained in detail about my diagnosis., at the end asked if I had any questions. Great Bed side manner.
