Dr. Gennaro is warm and knowledgeable. However, he performed a cystoscopy on my 77 year old mother without verifying her kidney stone was still there. It was not as she passed it naturally. Thus, this procedure was performed unnecessarily. This procedure and anesthesia is not without risk. I am not sure if this is standard protocol but it does not feel right.
