I flew in from out of state had an appointment with Dr. Alpaugh . I came to Mass General because I am a complex double knee case and it’s supposed to be world, renowned in handling these type of out of the box cases. I wanted to wait to see Dr. Bedair but the very very helpful scheduling department knew I was in terrible pain and wouldn’t want me to wait that long to see him. I suffered from hip pain and limited mobility for over 10 years, trying every possible treatment. Dr Alpaugh is the very best! He performed total knee replacements on both my knees 3 months apart from each other. I had a very rare tumor removed from my knee in November 2021 that caused a lot of destruction to the point I needed a TKR asap. My original orthopedic doctor(not the one who took the tumor out) wouldn't do the TKR so I suffered for months to the point I spent 2,000.00 of my money for an knee ablation that didn't end up working for pain relief.
