I’m 85 and I did PT with Kyle in 2022. By the end of the first session, he seemed to know everything that was wrong and what we’d need to do. My back was hurting terribly, but he looked at my whole body: I had one leg a lot longer than the other… but new shoes with a lift and better insoles would improve that. I had a Trendelenburg gait, so we had to work on my hip strength. My hip muscles were too short, so we had to stretch them so I could stand straight again. Our son was in a car accident when he was 18. He sustained a severe traumatic brain injury. He was in a coma for 9 months, then in a wheelchair for 9 years. He’s a fighter and he survived. He’s non-verbal and has spastic tetraparesis. My wife and I have cared for him since the accident. He’s 61 now. Our constant worry is that he’ll fall and get hurt. Kyle is the perfect PT – He worked with my 87 yo father in our home on some walking and mobility issues, while subtly recognizing and working on the bigger “purpose in life” issues. He got my dad to actually listen using a combination of expertise and gentle kindness. Highly recommended.
