My husband and I were eager and willing to become regulars at KY Boat Shop as we are avid fishers and moved to KY with our salt & fresh water fishing boat. Would give 0 stars if I could. Eric Henry, the owner, lacks communication skills and professionalism, so it is not a shock they are going out of business. My wife and I were very, very kind and understanding after MONTHS of being taken advantage of, ignored, or lied to. He received our boat in July for a simple cable replacement and added on winterization once October rolled around and we were still waiting for the work to be completed. Stopped in KY Boat Shop recently and met Erick the owner. Nice looking store and work area! This guy knows his outboards. Needed carb cleaned and his price was a very reasonable. I highly recommend KY Boat Shop, it’s the best boat shop I’ve came across in KY.
Just needed quick service/routine maintenance on an outboard. Eric serviced it promptly, professionally and had it back to me far sooner than I expected compared to dealing with some other dealers-boat shops. It was a great experience and I look forward to working with KY Boat Shop going forward.
I took my boat in for winterization and figure out why it died. Eric was great in finding out the cause. I thought it was the fuel pump or electronic ignition. It turned out to be a sensor in Distributor. Ky Boat Shop is the only place that I will have Work on my boat. Thanks Eric

Amazing shop! We have had all kinds of work done to our boat over the last couple years.... Fuel pump issues, electric wiring, installation of new down imaging and a new lower unit. Service and time management has been wonderful... It's definitely second to none.
Great service and a honest guy, My boat died on the Kentucky River and was tied up to a random dock. Eric (Owner) met me at the ramp at 8 A.M. on a Saturday morning with his boat. We drove down the river found my boat and he fixed it in no time. A knowledgeable mechanic and a honest guy who works on boats is hard to find. I will be a life long happy customer. Eric made it as easy as possible to get me up and running. Hell he even had waders in the truck and helped me load the boat!
