Read this before going to this location. I have been a long time customer of Tom's at Halsey Automotive on 7721 Ne Halsey St Portland,Or 97213. As of this year an employee there got fired and Tom took over ownership and the person that got fired stole one of there computers and sent out flyers saying that they are no longer in business and has moved to a new location. This is the ONLY Halsey Automotive Service......Don't be fooled by slandering people Halsey Automotive SERVICE has been in business for years with the same owner Wally Schmidt. They are honest people. I have been dealing with Wally for years. The only thing that has changed is the location. He bought a building and moved his business. Great Customer Service & Repair! One of the best car repair experiences I've ever had! He does great work - the first time around! No scams to bring in return business, and no extraneous fees or charges. The customer service was great - they let me know when my car would be done, and it was done ahead of schedule! Great communication! Great customer service! I'd recommend Halsey Automotive Service to anyone!

Scam!!! This is not the new location for halsey automotive!!!! This is a new business trying to steal us as customers from the real halsey automotive on 7721 Ne Halsey St Portland,Or 97213. If you're looking for the great Tom and Debra Caldwell and their great crew they have they are at the same location they've been at for years!!!!!

Don't listen to the five star reviews they are a scam!!!!! The business put up their own reviews.... These reviews below are a scam!!!! Oh wait this entire business is a scam they sent me a flyer saying that we lost are lease and moved thats not true. Tom and Debra and their crew are still at the original Halsey Automotive on 7721 NE Halsey St Potland,Or 97213.

Great Company This is a great Company. Wally Schmidt has owned Halsey Automotive Service since 1983. He lost his lease so he bought a building and moved. I have known Wally since he was a little boy working at the shop. He is honest and has great service. Keep up the good work.

Great Service I recently took my VW to Wally's it was a great experience! I feel like my car is brand new again. It runs so smooth! I recommend this place to anyone. Very affordable and trustworthy. I was able to get a great deal, much less than I was expecting. Thanks.

Halsey Automotive This is Halsey Automotive on 7721 NE Halsey St Portland,Or. We are a VW Audi repair facility we have been here since 1963 and as of this year Tom the manager took over ownership and the old owner went and opened another shop on 97th and sandy blvd and is sending flyers to all of our customers and is saying we moved but that is not true we are still here same crew and same customer service.

Customer since 1981 I have been a customer of Halsey Automotive for over twenty yearsthe current owner head mechanic worked in the shop as teenager when I first brought car there.I have taken my VW autos from a 1963 beetle to a 2000 VW Jetta there and have always received excellent service. The Head mechanic Tom has always treated me fair and went out of his way to find the best parts at lower cost. I have never been told that I needed work that I didn't really need. Tom and company really now there VWs!
