My son has been required to do endocrinologist visits for his type 1 diabetes since he was little. His comment after his first visit with Dr. Cheng: "Now that's how you do it." -- straightforward, thorough, clear, and competent. Dr. Cheng took the initiative to prescribe a different insulin and the newest CGM. Dr. Cheng and his office also went above and beyond by helping us resolve a special issue we were having.
This is the extremely abridged version -I never take the time to write reviews about doctors, but I feel compelled to share my experience as a warning to others. Dr. Cheng was kind and did not rush me. He was very thorough taking my history and explained why the osteoporosis medicine that was recommended I take would not be safe to take at this time because I was given for bone cancer would interfere. Sent me for lab work, bone density and called me as soon as results were in. He is very honest and efficient and thorough. He will c me in 6 months when other meds are out of my system. He earned my trust with one visit. Rare these days.
