We received a recommendation to use Kustom Koatings to paint our new cabinets from our cabinet maker. Larry was able to meet us on our job site after a phone call, worked a quick and reasonable quote and schedule us for prep the day after our initial phone call. His crew did the second day of prep the next day and coat one at paint day number three. Larry operates by giving the customer a timeline based on a “worst-case scenario”. I would not recommend doing business with Larry or Kustom Koatings based on our experiences outlined below. Larry turned a 4 week (max) interior paint job (cabinets, wall and trim) into a 7 week long headache which eventually ended with Larry double-booked and the job very incomplete before he finally walked out on us. To be fair, some delays were outside of our control, but Larry would typically use those as an excuse for not painting other rooms or parts of the project instead of managing through the delays.
