Staff was wonderful was moved from a nice floor to a disgusting dirty room once I was stable. The real was so small you couldn’t move without bumping into something. It was not clean. Everything was falling apart cannot believe a hospital would put a patient in a room like this and not be completely embarrassed with themselves..

My father had a very difficult time walking last year and received injections in his knees at the Aurora office. Because of this, he was able to walk and go to Florida for the winter. This year we visited the Yorkville office, and they denied him the injections and said that they would have done so last year. I realized that if we had happened to visit the Yorkville office last year, my father would have probably spent the last six months in a nursing home. Instead, he had a good life. Thank goodness we could not get an a... read more

I changed GI MD's 4 times before I finally found the right one in Dr. Sakuraba. His calm and thoughtful demeanor helped in earning my trust. He is committed to his patients and brings his experience into every case and situation. I was sorry to see him leave UChicago. His patients are very fortunate to be in the care of this doctor.

We were told by the person checking us in that we owed 353.00 and that our insurance was contacted and this was the amount after Insurance. I told her we have a PPO and there is usually a discount, Is this with the discount? At that time, she turned to someone who I'm assuming was in billing and asked her if my total was including the PPO discount and she said yes. I paid the full amount. Upon receipt of my EOB I found that my portion is only 113.00. a 240.00 difference. They did not say this was an estimate they said this i... read more

I was admitted to the ER on Thursday, 3/27, around 5:15pm. The waiting room was NOT busy (maybe 10 people). And for several hours the ER was NOT filled to its capacity. Many empty rooms. I was NOT seen by a doctor until over 2 hours later when a tech came in and I told them I was not seen by a physician. A PA finally entered. Before then, a nurse and a hospital representative met with me. The older nurse was about to attach an IV when I let her know that I was highly sensitive to Tegaderm. She indicated that she had ... read more

I've been Dr. Alwarshetty's patient for about 3 years. I've been very satisifed over that time. This week I had some health concerns - actual heart/neck pain. I called 5 days ago, and I asked to speak with the doctor. I was told the doctor is not working and they will get back to me, and if it's an emergency I should go to ER. They never got back to me and the doctor didn't call. I was in the hospital for 2 days, no call, no visit. I called 2 days ago, gave them an update and asked for a call. No call back. Today, I... read more

If I can select 0 stars that would be the most appropriate number. The level of unprofessionalism from the receptionist to the Practice Manager in particular was so cold and detached, insensitive and just completely triggering and traumatizing. How is it that we don’t have the proper training in cultural responsiveness , sensitivity, and humility. The competency is clearly not there. How dare we continue to allow our people (BIPOC) to continue to endure suffering in these medical arms in our communities that aren’t patient c... read more

WORST NEUROSURGEON at rush. Honestly he doesn’t even deserve a 1 star like most people said. I sure hope he doesn’t treat his children this way. Beyond terrible bed side manner. Just pushes surgery. No sympathy for a crying person at all. Doesn’t EVER barely let you talk. Definitely pretended to take a lot of notes but never did. Also his nurse who doesn’t even say her name asks if I had pain and than asks what’s the level?. 2 minutes go by and said she said you’re having no pain right? Than him telling me to do meditation... read more
