It’s really unfortunate how bad our service was. Our party was waiting 50 minutes for cocktails and even then only some drinks were bought out. Our party of 5 drank and ate at all different times. We waited another 40 minutes for our dinner. There was no communication, no apology, no appetizers offered while we waited. The server was rude and unhelpful. I wish they would have set the expectation that we would be experiencing a wait instead of seating us and having us wait over an hour for our dinner.
Hands down within the top 2 best meals I’ve had in LA and I love to eat. I was blown away. Every dish had a rich, intentional, and unique blend of spices and the meal was a textural journey. It sounds hyperbolic, but I’m serious when I say the rice pudding was the best dessert my girlfriend and I have ever had.
We had the white wine flight and mahi mahi curry. Full of flavor, creamy delicious. We'll definitely be back!! Outstanding!!
As someone born and raised in Sri Lanka, I know what good kottu roti should taste like, and unfortunately, this place missed the mark. We ordered two kottus, (chicken & beef) and neither tasted very good. The leeks were so hard they were barely edible, which really affected the overall dish. On top of that, the lady who answered the phone was rude for no reason, which made the experience even worse.
