Had the same issue with no sushi being on the belts like most of the critical reviews, however I didnt mind that since I was mostly there for cheap sushi, and that did not disappoint! I didnt mind having to order off the tablet for the things I wanted, I ended up getting miso soup which was exactly what youd expect no complaints there, the eel nigiri was delicious actually surprisingly better than some other more expensive places I've eaten, the garlic panzu salmon was good in flavor but temp was ice cold as if it had come o... read more
It's a fun gimmick but the quality really does not hold up. Everything has a bad aftertaste, is super salty, or has a strange texture. It's fun to try once but not again.
Kura Sushi was one of our favorite Japanese fast food, restaurants in Japan. When we heard one opened in Tampa, of course we had to check it out. It was very authentic to the original one in Japan, however, double the price but it’s to be expected. Overall, our experience was awesome.
Cool place Great experience -Rice was a little soggy in the sushi 7/10 Beef Ojyu 8.2/10 Very very tasty Crispy chicken 7.4/10 Owie gooie butter cake 3/10 (was more like a clump of caramel)
