It is appalling to me that someone like Dr. Kuntz is allowed to treat people at the most vulnerable time of their lives. In my first appointment with Dr. Kuntz, he showed his true colors. He showed no interest in learning my background and was very condescending. He felt it was more important to explain to me all of the ways I could be kicked out of the program rather than having a dialogue with me. After feeling I could trust Dr. Kuntz, I felt that I could be honest with him. When I let him know that the new counselor wasn’t very receptive of my needs, and simply not a good fit for me. Dr. Kuntz, invalidated my feelings by saying that I was the only person that has ever said that about this particular therapist. And then when I had no response to his comment.
