Let me start by agreeing that Dr. Kunin may not be for every one but I have been with her since 2007 and she has seen me through some of the darkest moments of my life. Dr. Kunin is a medical doctor and not a hippy dippy feel good therapist, she is there to help you with a medical, life threatening illness and not to sit in a chair and make you feel pampered. If you want a psychiatrist that actually cares about your well-being, and not just meeting her weekly quota, look elsewhere. Dr. Kunin is highly forgetful and pays almost no attention to detail, and I often felt like I was meeting her for the first time every time I came in. She always forgot important details about my life, including THE MEDICATION I TAKE. She had to have me remind her every time I saw her what medication I was taking, and what dose. Wow, clearly her approach to her profession isn't for everybody. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Kunin. My life has been trending towards balanced lately, largely in part to the medication and therapy.

Dr Kunin has been very helpful to me. She has treated me for my bipolar condition.

NEVER in a million years unless you want to feel more stressful than when you went into her office. Her billing system is very unprofessional as she will take money from your account without prior notice or sending a bill. She only spends about 15 minutes or less with me before writing a prescription that was not explained to me. She is HIGHLY unprofessional and rude. I feel a rush of anxiety even thinking about how she is very assuming and rude.

Comically unprofessional. As a new patient trying to schedule and appointment Dr. Kunin she had to reschedule 4 times, all of which were last minute. When I did arrive for our scheduled appointment I was kept waiting for over 45 minutes only to find out that she had forgotten to write the appointment in her spiral notebook. She suggested, and I completely agreed, that I should seek help elsewhere, proving to me that she had no desire to rectify her behavior. Extremely disappointing.

I met with Ms. Kunin last week for the first time. As she began to ask me about why I was there, I started to open up about my anxiety and depression. As I was sharing my family issues with her, she stopped me and told me this was not a good fit for her due to personal reasons. Ms. Kunin stated she believes I do need therapy as well as medications but she cannot help me. I was only there for 10-15 minutes. I walked out. Ms. Kunin did not offer me any referrals. This was very unprofessional.

Dr. Kunin never spent more than 15 minutes with me per visit. She could not have been less compassionate or empathetic, and did not seem to care at all. She took my word for my diagnosis without ever even evaluating me. The medications she prescribed me landed me in the ER, she didn't seem to care. Her billing manager is now billing me for services covered by my insurance and refuses to file the claim. My insurance has no record of her even trying to file a claim. Do not see this doctor.

Left two voicemails and never heard back. Dr. Kunin is clearly not interested in helping new patients.
