I must say, I didn't like Dr. Agarwal the first time I saw him to review a sleep study. He is very blunt, doesn't listen well at all, and has very limited people skills. I did read that other doctors rate him very highly though, so I assume he is probably good at what he does. I will see him again, but this time I looked at my sleep study results BEFORE seeing him so that I'm a little more prepared to talk to him. I would bet he doesn't have much patience for fools.
WORSE DOCTOR I EVER HAD.
First impressions are everything. I would suggest Dr. Agarwal understand patients are health care CUSTOMERS and can take their business wherever they'd like. After one miserable visit here, no thanks, I'll be taking my business elsewhere, where they seem to appreciate it. The wait times here are HORRENDOUS also. A basic first visit to get to know the Dr. (which I'll easily forget) took over 2 1/2 hrs.
I was not impressed with Dr. Agarwal on my first visit, he seemed very unfriendly and disinterested. However after seeing him for a couple years now for various reasons, I actually would recommend him to anyone. He is now much more attentive, friendlier and less intimidating. He has been very helpful to me and I fully intend to keep him on as my primary provider.
If I could give zero stars I would. Today was my first time seeing Dr. Agarwal He has no sense of humor nor is he friendly. Very monotone and blunt. I'm surprised he is still has patients that want to see him. Didn't understand why people in the waiting room were talking badly about him, now I know. Would not recommend him as a primary care doctor.
Very nice and does not rush through appointments. I would recommend him to anyone!

Horrible depositon and general lack of concern for patient health issues. When questioned about ongoing health concerns he became very defense and almost confrontational. If he had taken just ONE minute to read my medical records at HIS practice maybe I would left the appointment feeling encouraged and optimistic. Instead I left the appointment feeling defeated and dismissed.
