Working here has always been great and getting to meet with all the different kids and know that in the future they might use my strategies to progress their learning is a great feeling. New City Kumon is an amazing place for learning and a 10/10 recommendation for anyone struggling or even just wanting to get ahead in their education!
All the employees work to create a positive and productive working and learning experience for the kids. The employees work closely with kids to help through concepts and improve their learning. One of the greatest things is to see one of your students make notable progress and I’ve seen this all students. I have seen great growth of the students here firsthand! Students have come into the learning center not knowing reading or basic addition and within a month or two are way past that.
Our family has been with this Kumon institution for past 11 years. First our older 2, followed by our younger one. It has helped them build their fundamental basic math skills that they were able to comprehend more complex problems/techniques. It helped to give them the confidence to tackle complex math problems... which is continuing on in our little one. I have no regrets in our decision to have our kids join the kumon family.
Our son has been attending Kumon reading for the past year and we have seen substantial improvement in his ability to read and evaluate words; which has assisted him with his elementary learning. We are grateful to his Kumon instructor Dominique!
