Very Special Martial Art! Kuk Sool is a very rare martial art! Hard to find and I was so surprised to find it here in Irvine. This version of Kuk Sool is very practical for self defense. Master Dunchok seems to want to demonstrate the real uses of these techniques so you get something more worthwhile out of it than only show.
Great Place Not only has this place taught weapons and self defense, but I've also learned how to do flips and acrobatic things as well. Everybody in the studio is nice and friendly, and everyone also gets along very well.
Kuk Sool for Self Defense! Kuk Sool is truly a complete martial way. I've learned both Kung Fu kicks, Hapkido joint locks, ground fighting, and how to use weapons such as nunchucks, double nunchucks, the staff, danbongs, junbongs, and sickles. I've been training for over two years and there's still so much I have to learn! Classes are always energetic and fun!
Changed my life I have been studying Kuk Sool Kwan for three years and what a difference. I 41 years old and I am almost a black belt. When I first joint I did not realize the things I would be able to do. Master Dunchok is a great teacher, very patient and knowledgeable. The atmosphere of the studio is relaxed yet we train hard. I am in the best shape of my life.
