We were looking to have a new Boiler put into my mother's house in Chicago and heard of Kuhn from an acquaintance. My mother is 81 years old and lives by herself. Tim Kane came out to give her an estimate. When she received the estimate she called me up very upset because it was for $14,500 which I knew was way too high. I researched another company that I found with good reviews and an A+ BBB rating and asked them for an estimate. They came back with a $5,700 price, which we accepted, and had the job done. Great plumber and fabulous service – I was referred to Kuhn Plumbing by my electrician. The plumber I dealt with from Kuhn was Nathan - who was a total delight and extremely professional. Nathan identified the problem very quickly, corrected the issue, and checked other plumbing in my condo unit to ensure that there were no other problems. Outstand Service! – I recently was faced with a broken water pipe in my basement, and referred to Kuhn Plumbing by a co-worker. They immediately sent out a plumber to fix the mishap. The plumber was very courteous, knowledgeable and tidy with his work. I would certainly use them in the future.

Would not use again – I witnessed the employee dropped his tool and bounce with caused 4 of my floor tiles to be broken/chipped. The guys clearly lied to avoid taking responsibility for the damage. After much correspondance, Kuhn basically called me a lier and paid me $200. The work to fix the tiles cost $500. Anyione who doesn't put the customer first or stand behind their work & workmanship is NOT someone I would recommend doing business with.
