I visited The Oaks of Kenwood a few days ago and wanted to share my thoughts because some of the reviews almost made me skip touring it. After seeing the property, I think there are a couple things people should keep in mind. Some of the buildings are clearly older and look like they’ve been renovated. Because of that, I can understand how some of the reviews about the condition of certain apartments might be coming from those areas. If I could rate this place zero stars I would. The people who “renovated” the apartment I lived in wired my ceiling fan wrong so my whole lease I was unable to use it. The sliding balcony door was installed wrong so I was told I couldn’t have a screen on it while every other person in the complex had one they refused to fix it and get me one. My screens for my windows had holes in them. When I first moved in my AC was leaking into my ceiling and I had maintenance come once all they did was take my ceiling out and leave my wi... read more
