He quotes you a "fee" and then does everything possible to rack up the bill.I've fixed so much crappy paperwork. He charges you to fix his own mistakes too. Im filing a grievance. I used Mr Kruse to try to settle an estate. He was originally helpful, although expensive but what lawyer now a days isn't, but when I didn't move to close the case quick enough he chose to act on his own accord to write up papers for me to close and then charged me to do so. When I didn't respond quick enough he started to charge me interest on paperwork I didn't ask for. When I addressed this issue with him he acted offended and removed himself from the case. Great Our Experience with Tom was great. His assistant is very helpful as well. In some situations, waiting for answers for legal questions is excruciating. We did not have to go through that with this office. With any office it is important to read documents and be knowledgeable about what you are doing. This saves time and money. not a good choice I went to Tom Kruse for a very simple basic divorce - no property or debts between us just children - wanted a divorce and child support - one year and over $4000.00 later I am still married and not receiving any child support. The original contract signed said the average cost of an uncontested divorce was $850.00. typical lawyer made an appointment for a chapter 7 bankruptcy consultation and after receiving some forms and other paperwork i was charged $100, which for a person thinking about bankruptcy is a lot of money.there was no notice in his paperwork or website of fees for consult and i feel he is less than honest and would never recommend mr tom kruse to friends, family or any other citizen.
