Over the last 2 years I developed red scaly patches on my face. I've had minor skin issues before but this was so bad I was wanting to call into work because it was so distracting to people and I was becoming worn out from all the questions. I kept hoping it would just go away. After it wasn't getting better I randomly found Jason Kruse. May 2023-Since Dr. Shackelford for unable to see me about an aggressive skin irritation, I was scheduled with Dr. Kruse. When he came into the room, I explained the symptoms and he announced the skin irritation was MRSA. As a mother of a daughter who is an athlete, I know firsthand how horrible and contagious MRSA is and that it can return with “flair ups” at any given time.
