I called in my lunch order ahead of time so that it would be ready on my timed lunch break on a weekday. I figured I could sit at the restaurant if they had an open table. However, they refused to let me sit at their restaurant since I ordered carry-out even though there were no tables taken at the time. They explained that it would set a bad example and other customers may catch on to my "trick". Hands down the best Thai food I've had anywhere in the U.S. I'd give it a 10 if I could!
Easily one of the better restaurants in Abilene! I came with my family and we split three entrees that all contrasted, but went well together - the Pad Kee Mow, Mussamun Curry, and Sweet & Sour Chicken. What. A. Treat! The food had a lot of flavor and the portions were huge. The prices are good too, so I was definitely pleased. They don't mess around here; they know what they're doing. I definitely recommend giving this place a try.
the best thai food I have ever had, plus you have great view of the ghetto apts around town. 10/10 this is my go-to once a week, plus more.
They have great food and good service. The workers are friendly and can help recommend things. It is a smaller space so if one is trying to eat in the restaurant, it can at times be a longer wait. They can also make to-go orders and typically have accurate wait times for that process.
Love this place. The food is excellent. Never had a bad experience at all. The flavors are perfect. The owner is a gem. Pick up takeout for dinner today and she had me laughing so hard. Abilene is fortunate to have Krua Thai.
