BEWARE**** Please read: I was very excited to visit Solvang since we have driven through several times but never stayed. It was my cousins birthday and we agreed to escape for 1 night and enjoy some good wine. Her girlfriend recommended this hotel because of its cute and warm exterior and proximity to town. The location is quite great, you can easily walk to many restaruants, shops and wine tasting rooms. Great location, comfortable beds. Make sure to bring earplugs though...between the highway out front and the paper thin walls, you'll need them.

This is a really great place (nice, cheap, pool, spa). It's Achilles Heel is road noise in the morning so ask for a room away from the street
