I've been shopping at this Kroger since June 2003. I adore the staff at this location. I went shopping twice this week and still couldn't get my entire list completed. Reason being, the store lacked heat. I'm disabled and the cold is extremely painful for me. So the fact that I have to go back for a 3rd time in these low temps is ridiculous. I have to give big props to my local Kroger at Beck & Pontiac Trail. Just a few years ago, this place was a dive, and I was not inclined to go there at all. But a complete redo a couple of years back brought me back around. That, in conjunction with excellent treatment I get from staff there (including Michael R), keeps me coming back.
Nice store BUT be very careful when you see BIG sign advertising 4x Fuel Points on Gift Cards. Apparently they pick and choose what cards to give 4x points on and basically screwed me out of ANY points on a $200 prepaid Visa. In very tiny print, there is an exclusion policy on the $20-500 card allowing Kroger to void giving any fuel points at all, while still collecting the $6.00 activation fee. I have shopped at this store for the past seven years and had some poor experiences, but today is the final straw. I will not stand in line to give you my money only to have your team member be rude. The manager was indifferent... I will not be back
I slipped and fell at the 8 mile store and Kroger 3rd party said Kroger won't pay any medical bills or anything til I prove it wasn't my fault. My insurance company can't be billed because it's a liability injury at Kroger and the dr office won't see me without a letter from Kroger saying they are paying. I'm not rich I cannot pay that much outing pocket. The store has my accident in file. I'm in a LOT of pain. I tried calling Kroger headquarters and no one answered. What the heck do I do?
