I was very pleased with my initial visit. I felt like Dr. Patel treated me with respect and let me make decisions about my healthcare and choices.
I am 72 yo and decided on Dr. Patel because she is also a geriatric Dr. as well. I have seen her twice and I am pleasantly pleased. She is definitely a great fit for me. Dr Patel listens "a art that some physicians have forgotten." Sometimes you feel like cattle being herded, i did not feel that way at all while seeing her. She doesn't care about you and she doesn't care about your pain. She will happily make you jump through hoops to get what you need, then doesn't fulfill her duties by calling anything into the pharmacy. I repeat; SHE WILL NOT GET YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS TO THE PHARMACY!! You will have call her a thousand times to get what you need. She will waste your time and money with a sneer. I believe in "don't attribute to malice what you can to ignorance" but at this point she's either a terrible doctor or willfully malicious.
I will be officially switching doctors because I expressed that I struggle with my eating habits and she was extremely condescending towards me when I told her I needed help shutting off "food noise"... Yeah, it's a thing! Google it! She gave me a dirty look and said in a rude tone, "food noise?" She then referred me to a nutritionist, which I do appreciate, but she didn't need to be rude.
