I was diagnosed with MS in 2017 and after three years, the doctor that diagnosed me left the area. At the time, I was on Medicaid. I knew Dr. Reed through her excellent care with my (hard to handle-but wouldn’t have her any other way) Grandmother. Dr. Reed got high praise from a strong, tough woman. So when grandma passed and I was faced with finding a new neurologist, I crossed my fingers that she had openings. I was accepted, but with Medicaid they tend to bump you to the practitioner. As encouraged to do, I used My Chart to search for this provider and schedule an appointment with this office for March 27, 2025. The office called and canceled my appointment without my permission and then condescendingly told me that I needed a referral first ( NOT TRUE) and that the soonest appointment they had to get me in would be June. I guess I could just handle being in severe pain every single day for the next 3 and a half months when they clearly had an opening on March 27th when I scheduled with them to begin with... read more
