I was pleased with the surgery and the staff was very friendly and professional. My follow up for the surgery was less pleasing. I felt rushed and did not see the doctor. I saw the assistant. It was short with a quick look at the incision and I was released from care.
He was fabulous. He was though and went over my options from the most conservative to the most extreme. He also had a good sense of humor.

I am a 46yr old female with hEDS and have hypermobile thumbs. When I originally saw Dr. Matullo, I was impressed by my first visit and felt heard, he diagnosed me with subluxations in both CMC joints, with right being more unstable than left (which that was the one causing me more issues), so we started there he immobilized the thumb and sent me for X-rays and MRI, and to come back in 4 weeks.
