I am Linda Brookoff, a 75 year old woman who was in a serious car accident. I shattered my femur in five places and my bone popped out of my skin. My emergency surgery involved rods and brackets and my leg had to be put back together like a jigsaw puzzle. Dr Chenard successfully performed this complicated surgery and within three months I am walking with a walker. He is an amazing, skillful surgeon and a compassionate man. I am grateful to him, as I did not believe I would be able to walk again.
Definitely one of the best decisions I've made going with Dr. Chernard and having the total knee replacement. I couldn't walk 10 minutes before without feeling bone-on-bone arthritis, and now I can walk 10 miles a day pain free. Dr. Chernard is a great listener and very personable and treats each patient with time and care.
I am a 66yo woman and never had a broken bone. I had a bad fall at work resulting in breaks to right upper arm/shoulder and Tibia just below my right knee. Dr. Chenard did the surgeries to both areas, the shoulder being pretty intense. Post-Op X-rays showed how amazing his work was. A lot of hardware that resembles artwork! I got into a car accident last Friday and was referred to Doctor Chenard for an Orthopedic consultation. I called Dr. Chenard’s office yesterday 3 times and was not able to reach anyone. I called again this morning at 10:09 AM and had the worst encounter with a receptionist that I’ve ever had at a doctors office. The worst doctor I have ever seen regarding bedside manner and basic listening skills. He talked over me for two minutes and didn't answer any questions because he didn't allow me to speak. The most obnoxious, condescending and narcissistic doctor I've ever had the misfortune of meeting. BEWARE!
