My stay in the EMU was extremely uncomfortable but I was well taken care of. She is very thorough, patient and kind.
I recently was moved over to her as a patient when my epilepsy neurologist moved away. I saw her for the first time this week and she was extremely rude and had me upset & crying most of the visit simply because I said absolutely no to brain surgery as the first one I had was enough for me. Her reaction was very unprofessional & upsetting.
Dr. Ziemba was very patient and kind. She took her time explaining things and spent a good amount of time with me. I didn’t feel rushed.
I saw Kristine Ziemba in St Petersburg, Florida at Central Neurology. She was very rude. Interrupted me constantly though my answers were very brief. She didn’t seem to care why I was there and seemed bored with my presence. I’ve never met a neurologist with such a poor attitude towards patients. Patients with neurological symptoms often have a hard time describing medical issues. I thought I was doing a decent job of it as my symptoms are complex enough to need a specialist but shouldn’t seem that complex to a doctor with a... read more
This was my 1st appt and I think she is an excellent, concerned doctor. She not only prescribed a new (to me) RX, but offered and made appts for further testing and treatment. She is very professional, while still being friendly and caring, a rare combination in my experience.
I found Dr. Ziemba to be brilliant, caring and compassionate. I described my condition and within a few minutes Dr. Ziemba diagnosed my situation that others were not attentive to over the last several weeks. Dr. Ziemba taught me exercises - with great patience - that have helped me return to work. GOD BLESS DR. ZIEMBA!!!
Very friendly, I hat to bring my daughter with me and she was very accommodating.
The WORST medical experience I've EVER had in all my 12 years with this condition, HANDS DOWN. Ziemba was rude, barely listened to me or my questions, and refused to take any of my concerns seriously. The office is nice enough, but I still had to wait half an hour AFTER my appointment time to see her. But the kicker is-- She tried to tell me that I dont even HAVE the condition I came to see her for!!!! 12 years, countless doctors and ER trips, jobs lost, life ruined-- and she called me a liar!
Business response:
Sarah, I am sorry that there was apparently a breakdown in our communication. I strive first and foremost to listen to my patients and give an honest and professional assessment of their condition. I am sorry that my assessment was not the same as ones you previously received from other doctors, but I have to say that I have never called a patient a "liar". I hope that you have found another provider with whom you are more comfortable.
