Dismissive and condescending. McGruder has perfected the art of pretending to listen to her patients. She doesn't believe anything that she is told which makes her completely incapable of accurately diagnosing a problem. She guessed that I had gastritis and then decided it was just period cramps and didn't understand why I was so tense. I had a severely diseased gallbladder and chronic diverticulitis that ruptured. I was sick for 1.5-2 years. Don't waste your time with her.
Dr. McGruder is an awesome doctor she takes time and goes over everything with you and explains it very well.
I have seen here for a few years now, in Rock Hill and York. I am grateful for her advise and service to my health. Wonderful Doctor and person. Thanks for all you do!

Dr. McGruder has a friendly manner that puts one at ease, which makes for comfortable two way communication, and is also very knowledgeable in offering various options.
I am a retired 62 year old nurse. I have worked with alot of doctors. Dr.McGruder took me as a new patient and as everyone says We Nurses are hard patients. She listen to me and everything i was experiencing physically and emotionally and has me on the right track i need to be on to enjoy my retirement years.
