This Dr. is "Medical Director" who can DENY the referral authorization sent by your PCP (primary) when you have HMO. HMO sucks, but what sucks more is that the doctor who has authority to DENY patient's request does NOT look into patient's previous files and records. In my specific situation, Anthem (my insurance company) approved to see a specific doctor after my wife submitted an appeal. Dr. Arthur is a very good doctor . She is a very good listener . She is thorough and has excellent follow through.
Good listening skills. Very knowledgeable and respectful. She is a terrific person, teacher and doctor.
